Deloitte Ride Across Britain

Laterz@Paintworks, Bath Road, Bristol

Friday 14th October 2011 at 7.00pm onwards

with the first band at approximately 8pm.

12 members of Deloitte’s Practice in the South, recently completed the 2011 Deloitte Ride Across Britain, a 9 day, 950 mile plus cycle ride from John O’Groats to Lands End, raising money for The British Paralympic Association (“ParalympicsGB”).

The ride was the most challenging activity any of us had done and the whole team have many fond memories of cycling through the undulating British countryside and the splendid British summer (it rained a lot).

Thanks to some very generous donations through our Just Giving site, the 2011 team have   raised  over £18,500 for ParalympicsGB.

Despite our tales of how difficult the challenge was a number of Deloitte staff from the South have signed up for the ride in 2012. By the end of the year we will know who our riders are and to kick start the fundraising for 2012 we will be holding this musically themed fundraising event.

I am delighted to invite you to join us for an evening to rival Jools Holland himself! The event, styled on the Jools Holland Later Show, will feature five local bands, one of which I’m involved in with my Bassist Mike, Guitarists Stuart and Mike, and Lead singer Michelle, all are as listed below.
