Q: How many gigs have Eclipse played?
A: Under the name Eclipse, on the 25th August 2007, the total of appearances reached the grand old figure of "100"
Q: What are the usual charges for a gig?
A: Our charges vary depending on what the event is, We do a lot of Charity events which we donate a large sum to the charity in question. Obviously weddings will be more costly than public house events and festivals will be different again depending on what the capacity and attendance is likely to be. Also travel costs can also be part of the equation with more and more of our gigs being booked across the Severn Bridges. For a rough guide, local pub £250-350, local function/festival £4-550, local wedding £6-850 and distant wedding £750-1200. All these are subject to negotiation, but however these times are up to 12 midnight, anything beyond may require further discussion. Cancellation fees will apply should this be advised by the organisers less than 48 hours prior to the event. This will be a flat charge of £100.
Q: Can you supply background or complimentary music?
A: Yes, we can supply music of your choice (within reason) and play as a disco style break from "the band". This will be at a minimal additional cost but much more economical than the hire of a disco.
Q: What about advertising?
A: Advertising is usually up to the client, however we will be gladl to e-mail our current standard poster in either A3 or A4 for you to display at your event location.
Q: How long are your set lists?
A: Our usual set lists are just over an hour each. We usually like to start in the evening at about 21:00 and finish at about 11:30. For an additional charge we could also do a third set of reduced number of songs for a minimal fee unless this is agreed in advance.
